COUNSELLING

Everyone goes though hard times, sometimes really hard times. When that happens it can be difficult to know what the right path to take is. To help you move in the best direction for you, we will work together in a confidential setting that will give you the much-needed space to explore your options honestly and safely.

As an integrative counsellor, I work with the knowledge from Gestalt, Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapies, as well as integrating mindfulness and nature / walk and talk therapy. Particularly utilizing my experience working with self-awareness, confidence, boundaries, ‘empaths’ and ‘people pleasers’, trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodiversity and sense of self.

My favourite quote from the counselling world is “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” - Carl Jung. This is something we are all capable of doing, we just sometimes need a little helping hand.

In Person…

If you would like to have your sessions in person, the counselling room is based in Digbeth on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with great transport links and plenty of parking. Or if you’re interested in walking therapy, these sessions take place in Cannon Hill Park.

Either way, send over a message using the contact form and we can get you all booked in with a free initial 15-20 minute phone or video call to talk through your options and figure out what would be best for you.

Remotely...

If you’re looking to do therapy but need a bit more convenience, or even that you’d feel more comfortable in the comfort of your own home, remote therapy might be the perfect fit for you. I work predominantly on zoom but am open to over the phone if that’s something you’d feel more comfortable with.

Either way, send over a message using the contact form and we can get you all booked in with a free initial 15-20 minute phone or video call to talk through your options and figure out what would be best for you.

Pricing and Cancellations...

Before making a commitment in booking your first session, I offer a free 15-20 minute phone or video call. Where you can share the reason for reaching out in a bit more detail and we can get to know each other a little more to see if we can work together going forward. I really do appreciate that finding the right counsellor for you and your needs is extremely important and can feel like a big decision.

Cost: £60 per session

48 hours notice will be required if you are looking to cancel a session, however I understand that life is not always a simple flow and offer an understanding to the odd last minute changes now and then. Life does sometimes throw a curve ball.

If you choose to cancel a session before the 48 hours, no fee will be charged. A half fee will be charged if cancelling less then 48 hours before the session. A full fee will be charged if cancelling less then 24 hours before the session.
